The National Conference on “Cost Optimisation in Making and Rolling of Value-added Special Grade Steels” is envisioned as a focused knowledge-sharing platform bringing together professionals from the steel industry, research organizations, academia, technology providers, and policymakers. In the present competitive and energy-intensive steelmaking environment, achieving cost efficiency without compromising quality, safety, and sustainability has become a strategic imperative.
This conference aims to facilitate exchange of practical experiences, innovative technologies, and best practices across the entire steel value chain—from raw material preparation and steelmaking to rolling, finishing, and quality assurance. The theme highlights the growing need to achieve cost competitiveness without compromising quality in the production of value-added and special grade steels.
